Dolce Vita, this 201o Sportsman 28,was delivered in 2010 to her first and current owner. She has been well-maintained ever since. She has been fresh-water stored on a boat lift in a covered private boathouse. The owner reports that expense has been spared to keep ‘Dolce Vita‘ in pristine condition.
The hull was repainted in the original metallic color a few seasons ago, and her Silverguard upholstery was recently renewed in a cognac color.
All the teakwork is unvarnished in fine shape.
Dolce Vita has mainly been used for short fresh water trips, including on Lake Geneva and on Lake Maggiore. In 2019 she crossed the North Sea to London and explored the Thames River. The reliable Yanmar 260 hp diesel delivers more than enough power for those kinds of trips, and is a quiet companion when sailing at lower speeds.
With a current replacement cost of $280,000 delivered to the US, Dolce Vita represents an excellent value to US clients looking to add a classic pocket yacht to their fleet.
